Since our first vintage in 1999, Windy Oaks has been producing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that faithfully represents its unique vineyard terroir. Winemaking at Windy Oaks begins in our vineyards using sustainable and organic practices. With a winemaking philosophy of minimal intervention to fully preserve and maximize the quality of the grape, Windy Oaks mixes traditional practices, proprietary vineyard management, and selective use of technology. Windy Oaks Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are Burgundian in style, reflecting the coastal terroir, and the winemaking techniques. Nothing is rushed at Windy Oaks–with a minimum of 18 months of French oak barrel aging–and every effort is made to let the wine evolve naturally to its best expression.
